The fear of being tickled by feathers or feathery objects is called Pteronophobia. The word Pteronophobia is a combination of two Greek words ‘ftero’ and ‘phobos,’ where ftero means feathers and phobos means fear or deep aversion.
A person suffering from Pteronophobia will more likely be afraid of birds and other winged creatures, including eagles and bats. Also, there are chances that a person may even not like feathered pillows or feathery hats.
